Hi, I'm Kate! I'm a Senior Colour and Lighting Designer from Adelaide, Australia, with over 6 years experience working in Animation. I do Colour Scripts, Colour Keys, Background Paint and Visual Development. I'm passionate about painting and working with light and colour to bring stories to life.
For the last few years I've been painting Colour Scripts and Colour Keys, designing the colour and lighting for the TV series I work on. In Pre-Episodic I develop the colour and lighting design for all the sets/locations.

I have worked with Cartoon Network Studios, Princess Bento, Titmouse, Half Giant, Flying Bark Productions, Chalkdust Animation and L7 Pictures. I have experience working as a Colour Key Artist, Visual Development Artist, Background Painter, and Environment Designer, which have provided me with skills in designing and developing the visual style, colour palettes and lighting for both 2D and CG Animation.
I’m passionate about continuing to learn and hone my skills. I have recently done a Color and Light Class with Kat Tsai, an Environment Design class with Nathan Fowkes, a Visual Development mentorship with Yuhki Demers and a Gouache Masterclass with Angela Sung. I have a Bachelors Degree in Film and Creative Writing at Griffith University in Australia.
I'm always looking for new opportunities and qualify for an E3 Visa to work in the US (which has no cost to the employer).
